Custom e-shop built around the way you sell
For mid-sized and large companies, we design and build an e-shop that exchanges prices, stock and orders with your ERP and sells to B2C and B2B customers in several countries.

What is a custom e-shop?
A custom e-shop is an online store designed around the processes, business model and systems of a specific company.
SmartBase is a Slovak company that has been building e-shops for B2C and B2B sales since 2013 and connecting them to ERP, CRM, warehouse and accounting systems. Examples include the Slovarm e-shop connected to SAP S/4HANA and the Kondela B2B portal connected to the Llarik ERP.
We adapt the e-shop to how your prices are set, how you work with stock and product data and how each group of customers orders. We build it on our own platforms SmartBase® E-commerce and iObchodník or on Shopify Plus. We keep developing our platforms from our experience of running our clients' e-shops. The project starts from a proven base, and we custom-build only what sets your company apart.

When a custom e-shop pays off
ERP integration
The e-shop exchanges prices, stock and orders with your ERP, CRM, PIM, WMS or accounting.
Prices per customer
Each business customer buys under their own price list and terms.
B2C and B2B
Businesses buy at their own prices and terms, consumers as in any e-shop.
Complex products
Variants, configurations and sales by the metre, kilogram or pack.
Large catalogue
Tens of thousands of products with fast search.
Several markets
Each country with its own currency, language, shipping and payments.
Automation
The e-shop takes over carrier labels, invoices and other repetitive work with orders.
On Shopify Plus too
We also build a custom e-shop on Shopify Plus, with the same ERP and system integrations.
We connect your e-shop to the systems you already use
A product is created in the ERP or PIM, availability comes from the warehouse system, the price is calculated for each customer and the finished order goes wherever the company processes it next.
Besides the ERP, we connect CRM, accounting, carriers, payment gateways, marketing tools and your own internal applications. We have experience with SAP S/4HANA and SAP Business One, behind the Slovarm and Argus e-shops, as well as Microsoft Dynamics, Salesforce, HubSpot, Money ERP, Byznys and AN Systems.
For your own or a less common system, we design the connection around what it offers.
Business customers (B2B) and consumers buy in one e-shop
A business customer buys there at their own price list, discounts and payment terms, sees the assortment meant for them and, where needed, the order goes through approval in their company.
This is how Slovarm sells to businesses and consumers in one e-shop connected to SAP S/4HANA, and 57 of its B2B partners have already moved their purchasing to the e-shop.
A sales representative sees the same prices as the customer and can order on their behalf. In the Kondela B2B portal, sales representatives create more than 8,000 orders a year this way.

Your sales team processes e-shop orders as before
In one company prices are set in the ERP, in another each customer has their own price list, and one sells from a central warehouse while another sells from the stock of dozens of stores. That is why we first map how your company really works and only then design the e-shop.
Slovarm's e-shop exchanges orders with SAP S/4HANA in both directions, so sales and production work as before. In their account, customers see the status of their orders, download the proforma invoice and pay by bank transfer with a QR code.
Sell goods by the metre and thousands of variants in one catalogue
In a large catalogue, products have dozens of parameters and variants, relate to other products and sell in different units.
Slovarm sells more than 6,000 active products including variants. Its customers buy PEX-AL-PEX pipe by the metre, in steps based on the coil length. The order reaches SAP S/4HANA in the right unit and the sales team processes it as it arrived.
The e-shop passes shared properties from the base product to its variants, so Slovarm's team fills them in for all variants at once.
Customers personalise a product and see the result before they order
A personalised item, such as a piece of jewellery with an engraving or a name, cannot be returned, so customers want to see the result before they pay.
Customers type their text, add a symbol and choose a font, and the inscription is drawn on the product as they type. Your team sets the space for the inscription, the fonts and the maximum font size for each product, and if the text does not fit, the e-shop suggests a smaller font or shorter text.
The e-shop recalculates the price from the customer’s input, for example based on the number of letters, and the design goes to your ERP with the order as the basis for production.
E-shop content that Google and AI search understand
Customers increasingly put a whole question to AI, and the answer is assembled from websites that answer that question directly.
Alongside products and categories, you create guides, advice pages, FAQs, brand pages and your own content types in the e-shop and connect them to the catalogue.
We design the structure of URLs, categories and filters for search engines from the start, and the e-shop stays fast as the catalogue and traffic grow.

Run your e-shop admin with a single sentence to an AI assistant
Your team manages products, orders, prices and translations in the admin, or your ERP controls them.
We connect an AI assistant to the admin and the theme editor via MCP. Your team writes it a task in plain language, for example to add products to a category or change prices, even from a phone, as in the Najlekáreň e-shop admin in the video.
The assistant works with the permissions of the signed-in user, asks for confirmation before deleting anything or making other sensitive changes, and every change stays in the edit history.
We start with workshops on your business and processes, product data, system integrations, design and marketing. They result in a project analysis, which we use to design, build, test and launch the e-shop. We tailor the deliverables to the scope: we always start with an analysis and a solution design, and larger projects continue with UX design and a custom visual design.
