Sport.Video Filming App
About the platform
Sport.Video is the simplest way to capture and share sports match highlights online as they happen. All a user needs is a smartphone. The platform enables recording, producing, distributing, and marketing sports highlights and assists clubs in connecting with new sponsors.
Visit WebsiteThe client approached us for the redesign of their current mobile applications after we had prepared the web version of the platform for displaying highlights. The mobile applications are solely intended for content creation – recording highlights. Therefore, the challenge was to create attractive, functional applications that are easy to use and natively available for iOS and Android platforms.
In the first step, together with the client, we worked on the user flow within the application. We created high-fidelity wireframes from which we prepared a clickable prototype. This made it much easier for the entire team, from the client to the developers, to understand how the user would navigate the application and simultaneously identify critical areas.
Our task was to prepare the interface of a mobile application for capturing highlights of sports matches, which would be intuitive for the target audience and consider the client’s brand visual identity. The design challenge was to create a design that would be usable on both iOS and Android platforms and as consistent as possible across all mobile platforms and the web application.
We also assisted the client in deploying the applications to marketplaces. Both applications are now available for free download on Google Play and the App Store.
Sport.Video combines video browsing on an online portal with content-viewing applications and a filming application for sports match cameramen.
Thanks to advanced dashboards directly integrated into the platform, clubs and leagues have an overview of their marketing potential, enabling them to deepen their identity. The option to insert their own ads into the video brings opportunities for monetizing the potential of amateur sports.
